RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receives inbound transfers.
Operates powered pallet jack, forklift and/or reach truck. Inspects daily, charges batteries, maintains battery water level, and changes batteries as necessary.
Delivers raw materials, packaging and pallets to the appropriate production areas. Moves finished goods and work-in-progress from production lines to the shipping area.
Loads and unloads trucks. Pulls and puts away materials in appropriate warehouse locations. Covers and stretch-wraps pallets.
Ensures assigned production lines are continuously stocked with clean raw materials and packaging.
Records movement transactions in the SAP system.
Records food safety (HACCP) information on appropriate forms.
Ensures all raw materials and finished goods are labeled correctly.
Keeps areas clean and organized according to 5S principles.
Reports any damages, discrepancies, unsafe behaviors, and risks to supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS:
6-month Forklift experience listed on the application (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months)
Must be able to obtain a reach truck, forklift and pallet jack operator license by Tyson Foods standards, and continue to operate them safely.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and push up to 100 lbs.
Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends.
