Mechanic Operator.

Clinical Supply Operations-Clinical Packaging

Performs in accordance with specific instructions, all operations necessary in the changeover, set-up, adjustment, alteration, repair, maintenance, and operation of semi automatic and automatic machines necessary for preparing clinical supplies.

Input into machine, logic operating parameters for each control.

Start, stop, and tend machines during all phases of the production run.

Visually spot-check line production.

Adjust equipment to optimize performance.

Clear line and equipment jams.

Supply components to equipment as required for continuous machine operation.

Break down, clean, and sanitize equipment.

Alerts supervision of any irregularities in procedures or equipment operations.

Relocate equipment as required for operations.

Locate, diagnose, and correct pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical malfunctions.

Perform preventive maintenance and major overhaul activities as required.

Perform minor electrical work to keep production lines in operation.

Perform duties of an equal or lesser nature required to prepare clinical supplies.

Makes up carriers and shippers and prepares finished supplies for shipment as required.

Assist in the (re)qualification and (re)validation of processing equipment.

Perform as required Visual Inspection of Parenteral Products (i.e. Liquid filled and Lyophilized vials and syringes).

This requires individuals to pass qualifications and Biennial requalification.

Follows Current Good Manufacturing Practices, all safety rules and good housekeeping principles.
