3rd Shift - Maintenance Generalist

Description:

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Department:

Maintain and repair equipment. Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatics, and welding. Other duties as assigned. Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, reaching and required to include work on ladders. This position works in a cold, damp to hot and humid environment, and slippery surfaces. Good communication with management and all departments. Must maintain an updated pallet Jack and forklift license.

Position Specific:

Must have 12 months continuous work history with a single employer. Applicants will be considered for Maintenance type opening on 3rd Shift. Maintain and repair all plant equipment. Must have basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatics, and welding. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment. Must be able to demonstrate hands on abilities, skills will be enhanced through computer based training modules. Furnish own hand tools. Other duties as assigned. Must be able to handle extreme temperature changes.
