Starting Pay up to $28.00* per hour
*Varies depending on experience level
Shift Differential of $1.00 for 2nd and 3rd shifts

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position participates in the reconciliation of physical inventory of materials and the periodic cycle counting of products. Analyze, recommend, and implement improvements to control the inventory and improve service levels. Control parts and inventory in a secure location. Provide and handle all machine repair parts and all operating supplies to employees requesting them.
Responsibilities:
Enter any parts room issues, return parts, cycle counts taken on your shift.
Use engraving tools.
Follow procedure for receiving parts.
Fill Kan Ban requests
Fill maintenance kits for weekend projects.
Assist with vacation coverage as needed.
Accuracy in data entry and inventory management required.
Preform tank readings to verify inventory on bulk tanks.
Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments from Express carriers, common carriers and UPS to include incoming supplies of everything except the meat items. Compares identifying manufacturing information and count, weights or measures items to verify against bills of lading/packing slips, invoices or other records.
Receive inbound materials (except meat products).
Unpacks, verifies, matches packing slip to purchase order and enters receipts into the SAP and Coupa systems.
Enters “Receiving” into SAP and Coupa Receiving systems, ensuring correct receiving date is reflected. Sends messages to people who need to be advised of receiving and arranges for items to be delivered to them or picked up by them.
Report any issues, which include but are not limited to, food safety and quality to appropriate facility management.
Work on special projects, actively participate in Materials Management team endeavors, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must exercise courtesy and effectiveness in dealing with others. Works with truck drivers in setting up mutually agreeable delivery date and place of unloading shipments.
Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, fractions, etc.)
Must be able and willing to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able and willing to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
Must be able and willing to work in wet and cold temperatures at 35 degrees.
Class III power lift operator license, required.
