Job Details:

This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the refrigeration systems while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Must be willing to understand and work within the rules and standards of OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM), and EPA Risk Management Program (RMP). Must be willing to work within a total team environment and can effectively deal with team members, members of the management team, operations personnel, as well as contractors. Must have a foundational knowledge in troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, refrigeration and other systems under the areas of assigned responsibilities. Must be willing to lift 40 lbs. and must be able to work in both hot and cold environment. Be willing to participate in training and skill development in all areas of responsibility, and be self-motivated. Be flexible to work hours as needed to accommodate business needs.

Education: High School diploma.

Experience: 1 year experience with Air Conditioning/Refrigeration systems operation and maintenance required.

1 years Industrial Ammonia Refrigeration and equipment room experience in a food plant industry is required.

Travel: Approximately one to two weeks of travel per year possible for training.
