Description

The Consultative Pharmacy Technician 1 certified Pharmacy Technician who acts as an intake for all calls from patients, pharmacies and providers. The Consultative Pharmacy Technician 1 performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customer support/computational tasks. Typically works on routine and patterned assignments.

Responsibilities

Enclara, is a wholly owned hospice and palliative care pharmacy business acquired by Humana in 2021. Enclara is the nation's largest full-service pharmacy benefits manager (PBM) specifically for the hospice and palliative care sectors. Serving over 450 customers and nearly 100,000 patients nationally, Enclara works closely with hospices to reduce pharmacy costs, improve patient care and support caregivers through: digital innovations, flexible medication access, one-on-one clinical support, and excellent customer service.

Earn a $750 hiring bonus! Bonus is paid after 180 days of employment; you must be employed until that date to be eligible to receive the payment.

Location: Fully remote in TN or PA ONLY

Schedule : Monday through Friday 12:30PM to 9:00PM EST. No weekends.

Must cover 2 holidays per year.

Summary:

Pharmacy Technicians assist pharmacists in practicing palliative care for hospice patients in our Call Center.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Produce quality of work that is above the industry average

Provide superior customer service to our hospice partners

Ability to respond to high volume inbound calls in a timely and effective manner

Proficient in current technology system(s) to perform the following tasks : enter patient admissions, change an active patient to discharge/deceased status, transfer patients, update demographic changes, process refills, and documenting as needed.

Assist callers with customer service issues including FedEx package tracking and completing the CS report form to report all service failures

Assist local pharmacies with adjudication of claims

Assists with fulfillment of orders at applicable sites.

Possess unquestionable personal and professional ethics, in concert with the standards of Enclara Pharmacia.

Adaptable to change in systems and practice environment.

Education and/or Experience:

Customer service experience required

Call center experience preferred

Recent pharmacy technician experience preferred

Computer Skills:

General Windows-based computer skills

Strong typing skills with a minimum of 20 wpm

General working knowledge of Microsoft applications

Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Additional Information

Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their homes to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field.

Work-At-Home Requirements

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expenses.

A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.

Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.

A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
