POSITION SUMMARY:

Set up equipment in preparation for startup, and responsible for the operation the blenders and pumping product into KP machines, while also adhering to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Set up area with all needed equipment.

Load blender with proper meat.

Key items and materials into computer systems.

Document Blend information.

Perform Blending process to meet quality standards.

Blend rework back into meat.

Pull fat sample for quality assurance.

REQUIREMENTS:

Monitor production area for trash and debris on floor.

Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent.

All employees are responsible for upholding the principals of SQF 2000.

Must be able to work cycles in less than 20 seconds.

May occasionally be required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Must be willing and able to drive forklift and pass the forklift test in order to become certified.

Must be willing and able to become certified in Lock Out/Tag Out program.

Must be able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.

Must be able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.

Familiar with the safe operation of production line conveyor equipment.

External: Must have at least 3 months previous work experience with a single employer within the last 18 months. Successful applicants for this position must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment.
