As part of the daily tasks, candidates will be responsible for ensuring all materials are loaded and unloaded in a timely manner using a motor-powered forklift or standup lift.

Description

Candidates will be considered for any forklift start openings in any Material Handling department on Days (1st shift) and Swings (2nd shift). Duties may involve unloading or loading trucks, putting materials in storage locations, pulling products for production and outgoing loads. In order to complete daily job tasks, candidates must be willing to bend, twist, reach and move around the department, must be able to frequently push, pull, lift, and carry up to 40 lbs. and up to 70 lbs. on occasion. Candidates must be willing to work up to 12 hours per shift and overtime and weekends if required. All work is performed in a cold and damp environment with temperatures ranging from 28 to 42 degrees. This position involves constant standing, walking, and riding of powered material handling equipment (forklifts, stand-up lifts). Specialized training for powered industrial trucks required to be qualified within Tyson Foods, Inc.

Requirements

Candidate must have 6 months of prior warehouse and/or forklift experience.
