JOB DESCRIPTION

Cintas is seeking a production Seamstress/Tailor. Responsibilities include using an industrial sewing machine to make proactive or requested alterations to uniform garments, including hemming pants and other repairs such as mending and button and zipper replacing as needed. The position involves repetitive motions over the entire shift, including standing, walking and repeated bending, stretching, twisting and lifting. Daily accuracy of work is necessary for inventory control and accountability. Additional responsibilities include housekeeping and adherence to health and safety standards.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

Required

*1+ years' sewing and alteration experience *Ability to sit or stand for up to 8 hours a day; lift repetitively; reach up; count up to fifty; and withstand warehouse temperatures in summer and winter *Experience operating a sewing machine

Preferred

*High School Diploma/GED
