SUMMARY: This position is responsible for performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems, documenting and calculating results accurately; taking corrective action when necessary (alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product) and report results to management; any additional assignments requested. All team members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety.REQUIREMENTS:Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in the Fresh Meats industryrequired or other QA type experience.Communication Skills: Must have excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills.Special Skills: Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork; abilityto lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce; good problemidentification and problem solving skills; math and organizationalskills; ability to read and interpret product specifications; mustfunction well under stress; must have flexibility to work where and whenneeded.Physical Requirements: Position involves heavy lifting (70 lbs. ormore).Supervisory: NoneTravel: None
