What you will do!

This position is responsible for inventory control in the maintenance shop, as well as receiving, storing, and distributing parts and maintenance supplies, while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures

Duties/Responsibilities:

Locate requested parts, log all parts that are issued and returned into the inventory software system, put stock items away, conduct daily inventory counts and daily inventory reports. Data enter requisitions into SAP, Stores, and MMS software systems to purchase supplies and equipment. Distribute daily paperwork to appropriate parties. Contact vendors to expedite stock purchase orders and follow up on out-of-stock items. Restock, label, and organize physical inventory. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Must be able to stand on hard floors for 8-12 hours a day and lift, push, and pull 40 lbs. or more. nvironmental temperatures are seasonal. Strong organizational, time management and communications skills needed with ability to multi-task. Experience with MS based software such as Outlook Word and Excel is required.

Requirements

Resume letter required. Resume must contain contact information, relative work experience/history, skills and educational information. High School diploma or equivalent required. Must be 18 years of age to apply.

Preference given to candidates with prior inventory management experience.
