$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS

This position is responsible for the transport and delivery of freight on time in a professional manner by driving diesel-powered tractor/trailer combinations short and long distances, while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

This position will be a CDL driver that will perform duties of delivery drivers as the need arises. This position also provides general labor in the hatchery. Must regularly lift and/or move 30 pounds at a time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with arms, balance, stoop, and drive a vehicle to and from the job sites. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Transport hatchery chicks, eggs, breeder flocks or feed as the need arises.

Performs all production duties in the hatchery

Follows all Biosecurity, Safety, and Animal Welfare policies.

Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.).

The Company Animal Welfare Policy must be followed at all times.

Must be able to work in a dusty, hot, damp, humid environment with a high concentration of allergens. Must have the ability to stand for 8 hours a day along with the ability to grasp, grip, twist, push/pull, balance, bend and stoop. Must be willing to lift 30 pounds at a time. Must be willing to adjust and focus to distance, color, peripheral, and depth. Must be able to climb ladders and stairs as needed.
