All aspects of moving materials in and out of packaging or processing, while delivering and receiving per pull systems demand. Must input tracking information on products into SAP and perform some quality checks on incoming raw materials. Move object weighing up to 3000 pounds using material handling equipment. Safe and efficient use of appropriate tools and equipment as required. Maintain productivity limits required by line staffing and throughput. Effective communication with other workers. Effective skill level in use of computer for entering daily information. Follow all established policies and procedures, rules and regulations within the company. Clean and remove damaged or otherwise inferior materials. Performs minor preventive maintenance as instructed by supervisor. Be safety cautious. Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned work sites. Adheres to Tyson Quality Policies. Complies with the work rules and standards set forth. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Valid Tow Motor license preferred. Ability to work rotating shifts as needed for coverage purposes. Must be available to work overtime and weekends. Able to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Must be willing to repeatedly push, pull, lift and carry up to 65 pounds. Ability to withstand wet; humid, cold, and hot environments. Must be able to work in a refrigerated area with ambient temperature of 40 degrees. Must be willing to work in an environment with the sight and smell of meat products or any other product present when processing meat such as blood, fat, bone, spices.
