Job Details:
This position is responsible for non-skilled service work while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to all Tyson policies and procedures
Job Description: Will be working at multiple locations as needed. Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash, scrubbing, daily cleaning and maintaining cleanliness of all assigned areas including but not limited to restrooms, breakrooms, conference rooms, locker room, showers, glass/windows, desks, kitchens, walls, floors, cubicles, offices, stock supply closets and ordering of supplies, safe use of chemicals and any other assigned tasks on a daily check sheet or by the supervisor. Will be working at multiple locations as needed.
Requirements:
Must be safety oriented, a self-starter, can work independently or in teams, good communication skills, can carry out verbal directions with little to no supervision at times, dependable, must follow schedules/checklists, stays on task. Can utilize or be trained to use equipment. Can maintain a safe consistent cleaning routine and the ability to multi-task and to be trained & safely operate various floor scrubbing machines; work independently or in teams. Adheres to department/company safety & procedure guidelines.
Experience: previous housekeeping & equipment use preferred, but not required.
Specific Skills: Follow an area assigned check list, maintain a consistent and safe cleaning routine and follow standards set up in the Housekeeping Manuals, MSDS logs and any other documents trained on or assigned to. Complete assigned tasks. Must be able to work with little supervision daily.
Physical Requirements: Push, pull, lift or carry up to 50lbs., bending, twisting, ability to walk or stand for 8 or more hours on hard surfaces, able to perform work that involves gripping and the use of hands and arms above the level of the shoulders.Travel: Possibility of travel from one facility to another.
