Security Officer - Columbia SC

Summary:

This is a full-time position that is responsible for monitoring daily traffic entering and leaving the Tyson Fresh Meats Inc. facility, answering phones and communicating with Material Handling on status of loads. This position is also responsible for monitoring what is being brought into and out of the facility and enforcing Tyson policy if needed. This position is also in constant communication with truck drivers’, vendors, and customers. Other duties include documenting and logging of information in computer based system. Must be willing to work overnight and weekends. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

Work History: Must have 6 months of continuous employment in the last 2 years.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills of Windows based software, such as Microsoft Excel and Word.

Communication Skills: Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate under stressful situations.

Special Skills: Detail Oriented.
