You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. With coaching, you will operate and maintain equipment to deliver on our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets. You will use execute all standard work processes on your equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards and ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed. You will understand the losses in their area and equipment and report them.
How you will contribute
Major Responsabilities:
Reporting to the Maintenance & Repair Leader the PM Mechanicis responsible for performing planned preventative & condition based maintenance. As directed by Maintenance Leadership the PM Mechanic will complete planned improvements and maintenance project work. Will work to support production as directed by the M&R Leader when required.
Working relationships:
Reports directly to the Maintenance & Repair Leaders
Performs the execution of preventative maintenance loss prevention supported by the full Maintenance Organization - R&M Leads, Planners, Stockroom Personnel, Maintenance Manager
Regularly interfaces with Operations colleagues and Leadership
Interfaces with Engineering as directed by the M&R Leader.
Works closely with MRO Stores teams and Maintenance Planners in updating and correcting PM documentation and developing optimized PM's that can include parts kitting.
Essential Functions (Include but are not limited to)
Performs preventative maintenance including CBM/TBM PM's as required
Collects, analyzes, and reports on machine conditions to identify abnormalities that require planned intervention.
Responsible for communicating PM deliverables to Maintenance Leadership
Responsible for sending CBM/TBM data, and communicating with a 3rd party for analysis, and reporting
Will use MS Office software for data collection, and reporting
Will use the SAP Maintenance function, and become fluent in the use of SAP
Responsible for reporting urgent repairs required that were observed in the performance of duties
Completes Detailed Root Cause Analysis as required to identify failure causes and impacts on machine breakdowns.
Performs and develops preventative maintenance inspections
Performs equipment lubrication, and oil analysis procedure as needed
Supports mechanical repairs and component disassembly as needed.
Assist's in training mechanical staff on machine operation, repair,setup and center lining
May be required to facilitate or perform major refurbishment of assemblies or machines as directed.
Will initially work Mondays and be responsible for the quality of repair and setup of weekend work.
Assumes responsibility for safe work practices in the performance of duties, including training in Electrical Safe Work Practices.
Assumes responsibility for following GMP, & HAACP guidelines in the performance of duties

Job specific requirements:
5 year’s maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing setting (preferred)
Computer proficiency (SAP, MS Word,Excel and Outlook)
Excellent communication (verbal & written)
Excellent planning and time management skills
Available to work flexible hours and days as needed to support the business
Cross functional knowledge and awareness
Experience with TPM, 5s, and Lean 6 tools and concepts (preferred)
Organized individual capable of maintaining and archiving and managing machine data.
Willing to travel for training and certifications asrequired.
Possess solid analytical & problem solving abilities.
Self-starter and proficient at working unsupervised.
Strong Mechanical Aptitude – Ability to complete mechanical repairs and learn mechanical techniques.
Is or has the ability to become a subject matter expert on complex machines to insure offline repairs and machine setup yield a successful production startup.

High School Diploma or Equivalent
