Tasks

This position will work in our TASCO facility. This position is responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, using gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements. Using precision tools, machinery and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, hydraulic press, chop saw, band saw, push and pull broaches and other cutting tools and equipment. Fabricating and shaping parts such as tool and machine parts out of metal, plastics and composites. Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance on machinery and equipment. Evaluate experimental procedures and recommend change or modifications for efficiency and adaptability to setup and production. Must be willing to push, pull, lift or carry 50 pounds or more. Must be able and willing to work in extreme cold or hot environments (45 degrees to 105 degrees). Must be able and willing to reach above shoulder level and stand 8-10 hours per day.

Requirements

One year related experience required, journeymen certification preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be available to work A shift. This facility runs up to 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, with half day on Saturday as needed. All job offers are based on the conditions that the candidate can provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and pass a urinalysis screening, which is part of the post-offer health assessment.
