Responsibilities

The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 typically works on semi-routine assignments. This is an incoming call center setting. Technicians are responsible for taking incoming phones calls from providers for new Rx's, clarifications or transfers as outlined by standard policies. Full time with Work at Home option.

The Dr Call Phones Pharmacy Technician works from home in a call center capacity and provides resolution for prescriptions that are considered incomplete, invalid, or contain clinical issues preventing the fulfillment of the request.

In this role you will:

Take inbound calls from physicians offices and members

Make outbound calls to providers and retail pharmacies

Follow up on new prescriptions requests and transfers

You must have the ability to solve problems and encourage others in collaborative problem solving. You must be self-directed, but also able to work well in a group, have a positive and proactive attitude.

Role Essentials

Must have an active Pharmacy Technician license in the appropriate state.

Experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a pharmacy or call center environment

Excellent communication skills

A positive, proactive attitude with a passion for customer service

High school diploma or GED

Home office: a dedicated secure workspace with high speed internet

Role Desirables

Inbound/outbound call experience in any pharmacy setting a plus
