This position provides patients with highly technical radiological procedures including the application of prescribed ionizing radiation and administering contrast agents/medications for radiological diagnosis. This position may also, under the direction of the Diagnostic Imaging or Clinic Manager, coordinate the day-to-day operations of Diagnostic Imaging to ensure efficiency, quality care and service to patients.

Washington State License for Radiologic Technologist.

Certificate from the American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT).

Minimum one year experience in Diagnostic Radiology (or two years at VMMC or other Bellevue Community College Radiologic Technologist program approved cite as a student tech).

24 hours of continuing medical education every two years.

CPR license to be renewed every two years.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology.

Strong organizational skills.

Willingness to grow with technological changes occurring in the field.

Ability to manage stressful situations appropriately.

Ability to attend to multiple tasks and work independently.

Ability to be versatile, flexible and be able to lift 50 pounds.
