SUMMARY
Global Asset Technologies LLC (GAT), a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified
Stock Clerk (Ammo) Lead
. The
Stock Clerk (Ammo) Lead
perform support services for non-GIN tasks that exceed the organic Task Force Marshall capabilities detailed within the PWS. Support includes but is not limited to the processing, administrative functions, and any other function necessary to train USAR and United States Navy Individual Augmentees (NIACT).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position, and are
not
intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist the S-3 with the forecast of ammunition yearly (FY) and quarterly for NIACT and Task Force Marshall permanent party personnel.
Complete ammunition request and turn in documents monthly for NIACT and as needed for the IWP. Facilitate requests of transfer of ammunition between units.
Coordinate with DPTM and ASP for requesting and drawing ammunition.
Maintain all records and verify DPTM expenditure reports against turn in documents and report information to Navy commands as required.
Complete monthly TAMIS. Ensure enough ammunition is drawn IAW POI requirements, dunnage turn in conducted after each range event, proper documentation, and follow ASP SOP.
Obtain and maintain the mandatory Fort Jackson training requirements IAW AR 190- 11 and Fort Jackson Regulations without any additional cost to the Government.
Coordinate with the companies, TFM S3, and the Navy LNO to determine ammunition requirements for NIACT ranges. Report to TFM S-3 for final determination.
Validate and ensure the transportation and use of the ammunition to the scheduled ranges and training sites, ensuring that regulations are followed.
Transport ammunition to ranges and possess a commercial driver’s license with HAZMAT certification. Assist with ammo point detail when necessary to support ranges.
Ensure the proper documentation (DA 5515) is completed between the delivery personnel and the company receiving the ammunition. Upon completion of the range, recover all dunnage and ammunition that was not utilized. Verify live or blank ammunition was correctly, stored, delivered and distributed according to training schedule.
Obtain license/certifications, including HAZMAT and Ammo Handler’s Course, within thirty (30) days after employment without any additional cost to the Government. To include all necessary licenses and certifications necessary to access and perform duties as ammunition handler in the TFM Ammunition Holding Area (AHA) at the Fort Jackson ASP IAW Ft Jackson Physical Security Department and all applicable regulations.
When needed, perform duties as needed at ammunition point on live fire ranges.
Track, monitor, and report Student ammunition needs and usage IAW the Task Force Marshall SOP.
Pick-up and return amnesty ammunition and dunnage IAW Ft Jackson and TFM amnesty ammunition programs.
Ensure TFM AHA is operated and maintained IAW all DOD, US Army, Ft. Jackson and TFM regulation and TFM SOPs.
Ensure all ammunition, live and blank are received, transported, accounted for, managed and turned IAW all applicable regulations.
Monitor, track and report all deficiencies pertaining to the TFM AHA.
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum) Qualifications
For personnel, whose tasks involve operation of any vehicles must possess a valid U.S. state driver’s license, applicable for the type and class of vehicle being operated.
Be able to operate a Personal Computer with a functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (primarily Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Windows graphical user interface) and Data/web based systems required for task area performing work. Be able to troubleshoot common computer hardware & software problems.
Have a working knowledge of Army and Navy rank structure and military unit relationships (e.g., Company, Battalion, Brigade, Division, etc. and Navy equivalents).
Be able to work under stressful conditions and be physically able to demonstrate the training/support tasks to standard.
Have a working knowledge of mobilization/demobilization operations IAW FORSCOM Regulation 500-3-1 thru 500-3-5.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must possess and maintain a SECRET clearance and pass a local security screening.
Must be able to pass extensive background investigation and pre-employment medical testing.
Must be able to articulate, speak, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Contractor shall maintain a high standard of dress and appearance (Business Casual).
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
Capable of understanding and applying written and verbal orders, rules and regulations.
Meet physical/health requirements for duties.
Must be able to follow Standard Codes of Conduct pertaining to interaction with Army and Navy Personnel.
Preferred
Experience in Logistics (Ammo).

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervisory responsibility of two personnel.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
