We are offering a $3,000 Sign-On Bonus to qualified applicants

$3,000 Referral Bonus to current Tyson Hourly Team Members if qualifications met.

This position is responsible for the transport and delivery of freight on time in a professional manner by driving diesel-powered tractor/trailer combinations short and long distances, while complying with Department of Transportation rules and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Primarily responsible for picking up eggs from Growers at the various contract Grower Farms, may also be required to deliver chicks to the contract Grower farms, and fill in as a driver at other NWA Live locations as needed. Must keep truck and equipment in good working order, maintain driver's daily logs and fill out all required DOT documentation legibly and completely, will be working outside and subject to seasonal weather, hot or cold and dusty environments, will be climbing up and down stairs to get to/from the work areas and steps in/out of the trucks.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

Current and valid CDL License with a clean driving record.

Must have a minimum of one (1) year driving experience in a Class A vehicle.

Must have a current DOT medical card.

Must meet the Tyson Driver Evaluations System requirements.

Must be willing to work weekends and overtime (as needed)

Must learn all farm locations for both chick delivery and egg haul

Operate Moffett loader to unload chicks at farms. (requires training/license)

Must have legible handwriting to properly complete Logs.

General climbing, lifting, pushing and or pulling (as needed)

Will travel to area poultry farms as scheduled

Must be able to perform Pre & Post Trip vehicle inspection

Ability to perform and complete routine paperwork

Willing to perform all duties as assigned by management

No DUI/DWI conviction in the past eight (8) years in a personal vehicle. No DUI/DWI conviction in Commercial Motor Vehicle ever. No DOT Drug or Alcohol Violations including Roadside Inspection violations as identified on locations PSP report within the past three (3) years.

Must be able to lift (up to 25 frequently, 50 lbs on occasion).

Must meet the Tyson Driver Evaluations System requirements.

Must have ten years of work history (employed, unemployed, self-employed or student).

Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild or exotic fowl to be considered.

This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex, if no qualified applicants we will consider applicants outside of our complex.

You must be Fully Vaccinated for COVID-19 by November 1, 2021 to be eligible to apply.

Only applicants from the following counties in AR will be considered: Washington, Benton, and Madison, within a 50 mile radius of the ITC Hatchery (Springdale) for Adair County in OK and McDonald County in MO.
