Job Description

This position is a floater driver position. Must be willing to fill in as a driver in the Live Haul, Hatchery, and Feed Mill departments. Must be willing to work any shift as required on a short notice to fill in for absenteeism. Must be willing to assist the cage repairman in various duties, move fan trailers as needed, and any other duties assigned by the manager.

Must be able to pass a D.O.T. Physical examination and Drug Screening as outlined in the D.O.T. Regulations. Must be able to pass a road test. Must be able to perform essential job functions to standard within 20 days. Must have Class A CDL and 1 year driving experience. Cannot have a DUI within the past 10 years. Must be able to perform essential job functions to standard within 20 days. Must be able to work flexible hours and some weekend. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work in a hot, cold, humid & wet environment. Must observe all required hygiene & safety procedures at all times. This job requires bending, lifting, twisting, & turning. If an applicant meets Tyson's minimum requirements for consideration of 6 months employment out of the last 12, they may be contacted for an interview.
