Job Details:

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks: This position is responsible for cleaning up spilled feed, assisting with loading and unloading feed trucks and any other duties as assigned by management, such as cleaning and shoveling pits and scale area. This position also requires learning all positions to cover for vacations and absentees.

Requirements: Must be willing to work flexible hours, such as rotating shifts, some weekends, and most holidays. Must be able to stand and walk on concrete floors 5 to 7 days per week, 8 to 10 hours a day. Must be willing to lift more than 50 lbs. Must be willing to use an 8 to 12 lb. sledgehammer. Must be willing to climb ladders and stairs. Must be willing to work in an elevated area. Must be willing to use an elevator. Must be capable of being certified to operate receiving equipment: forklifts, bobcats, tractors, and pallet jacks. Must be willing to participate in team efforts. Must be able to work in a climate ranging from extreme cold to extreme hot. Must also be willing to work in a dusty non-toxic environment. Must be willing to follow Mill Safety rules at all times.
