B-Shift Building Maintenance

Job Details:

The team member is responsible for maintaining all buildings and outside grounds up keep and other assigned duties during all times of the year. The following includes some of the jobs but not limited to: painting, mowing, weed eating, climbing on ladders and working at various heights and surfaces, changing light bulbs, removing snow and ice, and laying down salt at plant entrances, building forms and pouring concrete, and framing walls. Hand tools and power tools will be used for these duties Janitorial work including trash removal, hanging plastic in various locations on the grounds including the production floor, and cleaning windows, break rooms, and bathrooms.

Must be willing to use personal protective equipment as needed such as gloves for delivering packages and boxes to designated locations. Must be willing to occasionally manually lift boxes and packages up to 100 lbs. with help. This occasionally requires climbing stairs and a considerable amount of walking. Use of an outside forklift, certification required. Authorized Lockout/tagout certification required. Will work with, store, and handle chemicals necessary for cleaning and painting. Must be able to work assigned shifts and weekends Must be able to read and understand manuals, execute and document work completed on Scheduling sheet. Needs to be able to follow all safety rules which include, but are not limited to the Tyson Core Safety Mandates. The team member is responsible for following all Tyson Policies. Daily work will be determined and assigned by supervisor.
