We create quality products in a safe work environment. We offer advancement opportunities and steady work. Waterloo KPR produces taco meat and pizza toppings, and operates six days a week (Mon-Sat).

This is a 2nd shift position with a work schedule of 1:40 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight), 5-6 days a week. The base rate of pay is $18.94/hour plus a shift premium of $ .15/hour and is eligible for step increases at 3 months ($20.04), 6 months ($21.16), and 12 months ($22.27). This position is also eligible for overtime pay.

Job Responsibilities:

Ensures the cooler is in good clean condition

Uses daily cooler check sheet

Coordinates with supervisor on formulation and cook for the day

Ensures the cook line is properly supplied so product does not run out

Inspects inedible and ensures all inedible from the previous shift is weighted and accounted for

Ensures the product being received is given the proper label and HU

Ensures the staging area is not cluttered and Wolf King grinder is not hindered

Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

High school diploma GED preferred

Inventory control skills preferred

Forklift experience preferred

Basic computer skills - use of EIM Inventory Control and Plantview preferred

Strong communication skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work professionally and respectfully with others

Ability to identify, act with a sense of urgency, and resolve problems/inconsistencies

Good math ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide

Must function well under stress

Must have flexibility to work where and when needed

Ability to work in an environment where temperatures are at 35 to 50 degrees

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 60 lbs.
