The starting pay for this position is $21.25/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Blender Operator operates an industrial blender to maintain a consistent quality dough.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepares for start-up or shut down of equipment as required

Responsible for inspecting areas of responsibility for possible foreign material issues and promptly notifies Supervisor and QC of any contamination

Responsible for keeping accurate legible records as required including Operator Log’s to include accurate records of blends

Ensure product specifications are met in accordance with customers written specifications

Responsible for maintaining consistent dough and dough temperature

Responsible for assisting press operator as needed. Must be able to monitor the line while the press operator is on break

Responsible for operating regrind equipment to maintain a consistent regrind supply

Must have the ability to enter data as needed into a computer-based system

Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor

Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements

Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to flex/grip with wrists/hands

Walking, bending, standing, climbing steps and lifting of up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis

Required to use and read scales, stopwatch, thermometers, PH meter and moisture analyzer

Ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, multiplying, etc.) with use of calculator

In order to be eligible for consideration you must have:

Must have operator experience listed in the work history section or the skills section of the application.

Must have 6 months’ work history in the past 3 years to be considered.

Must not have been terminated from a previous employer for attendance or job abandonment.

Must be available to work overtime and weekends.
