Taxi driver careers earning vary depending on various aspects like the working hours, geographical location of the area, customer tips, and regulatory conditions. Having a good vehicle that has an improved gas mileage is an advantage for drivers since they are the ones paying for their gas. Based on recent data, the median annual wage and salary of taxi drivers plus tips is $21, 550 and about 50 percent earns between $17, 770 and $26, 800.
